Comments:

Living across the street from this venue, this was like having the Dead play in my front yard! Other than Bobby's bad joke and a terrible rendition of Dire Wolf, an excellent show. Great version of Death Don't Have No Mercy ranks right up ther with the definitive version on "Live Dead".

I WANT THIS SHOW!!!!

Bobby is just smacked at this show. wow, the timekiller before dupree's is just nonsense. So funny.

Very special performance of Hard To Handle with Jerry playing his pedal steel guitar throughout the song. Killer harmonica playing coming from Pigpen on Big Boss Man. Caution Jam never really fell into true form with its cleverly placed St. Stephen transitions and rhythm hinting at a "Caution" but instead Garcia stood in the way and melted right into TOO and then finally fell into a sincere Death Don't! I love the seventies era and everything else they all did after this show, but kind of wish altogether the Dead stayed this experimental and unpredictable. Can I get an A'men!
