One of the first tapes I ever owned...sounded like it was recorded from inside a garbage can out in the alley

the copy I have sounds incredible (listening to the viola lee blues right now)...definitely a step up from inside a trash can. Loaded with goodies and available from Highly recommended!

this is a yet another stellar performance from a prime year good 3 night run at the ark though i highly recommend any of them shows

Great early, raw Dead sound from the 60's. Pigpen sets Hard to Handle ablaze with his bluesy growl, The Other One rages with organ and fiery guitar, and Viola Lee Blues cresendoes to breakneck speed. If you can find a decent recording of this show, by all means grab it...and share the love with everyone else.

A garbage can?!! Haha whats the story behind that?
