funny bobby story before "Hey Jude" about why George Washington is not smiling on the dollar bill. Because he had wooden teeth, and every time he smiled, they fell out. You can hear the guys in the band telling him to be quiet during, but Weir prevails.
-Brian Merrilyn

why does the Hy Jude suck so bad?

what is it that happens a minute or so into "good morning little schoolgirl"?

Pretty far-out set, this one - the official 2/11/69 release sounds clear and precise, which makes it a good purchase. I'd recommend it. Jerry is all over the Cryptical Reprise here!

Hey Jude doesn't suck - it's not amazing, but, as Jerry says, it's just something they were fooling around with. And I think there are some mixing problems at the beginning of Schoolgirl they iron out as the tune marches along.
